FAMILY FIRST SUPPORTS SAJC PARLIAMENTARY INQUIRY Monday 23 March 2009 FAMILY FIRST MLC Robert Brokenshire has indicated his Party’s support for a parliamentary inquiry into the scandal surrounding the South Australian Jockey Club. “We came out first publicly supporting the Liberals’ move for an inquiry, and we have concerns in particular about the probity of the sale of Cheltenham racecourse” “FAMILY FIRST believes this is an important issue that needs a thorough investigation by a transparent parliamentary select committee with broad terms of reference” Media reports today indicate that with other crossbenchers’ support, the Select Committee will be established.
